About Our District
Columbia -- Adair County is located in south-central Kentucky.  As of 2009, the population was 18,029 for Adair County and 4,626 for the City of Columbia.

 

The Adair County School District consists of five schools:  Adair County High School (9-12), Adair County Middle School (7-8), Adair County Elementary School (P-6), John Adair Intermediate School (3-5), and Col. Wm. Casey (P-2). 

According to the 2011-12 District Report Card, the total enrollment for the Adair County School District is 2459.  The student to teacher ratio is 14:1 and the per student spending amount is $9871.00.
