The ACHS Family and Consumer Science Dept. and FCCLA recently held a food drive to benefit JOY Ministries. In total, Mrs. Vanessa Burton's classes collected 757 cans and boxes of food to help JOY with its their pantry.  ACES Academic Team:  2017 14th Region Champions. Third graders at Adair County Elementary School learned hip-hop, ballet, and tap dances Friday, Feb. 17 at the school’s third annual Leaders in the Arts program. ACHS' HOSA Club is recognized for adding more than 50 names to the Kentucky Organ Donor Registry. Adair County students at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, Ky. for the 2016 STLP Regional Competition. Army veteran Larry Watson was the special guest of his four grandchildren at ACES’ recent “Thankful for Our Veterans” program.  Watson is pictured with Jayda Brown, Layla Roberts, Carson Brown, and Savannah Roberts. ACES students decorate pumpkins as their favorite book characters.  Pictured:  Emma Helm, Jordan Turner, Hallie Burton, Sarai Collins, and Rickie Franklin. The newly-opened Virtual Learning Center at ACHS presents students with a wide array of digital learning options. FFA students win first place at State Fair. ACPC students pose with six bikes donated by Columbia Masonic Lodge No. 96, to be given to three boys and three girls that finish the year with perfect attendance. Preston Burton, Evan Smith, and George Singleton III work together on a communication and team building project at ACMS. Ty Cundiff, Millie Brown, Kennedy Ray, and Emma Ellison assisted parents and students around the school Monday evening at Adair County Elementary's open house. ACHS football kicks off Aug. 19, but the squad has been preparing for the season for several months.  Pictured, from left, are head coach Clay Stephens, linebacker C.J.
